Gearbox: 6-Speed Automated Sequential Gearbox (ASG)
The LFA uses a rear-mounted 6-speed ASG to achieve a 48:52 front-to-rear weight distribution. The shift speeds are adjustable, and the mechanical, "clunky" feel of the gear changes was intentionally tuned to provide a raw, race-car-like engagement for the driver.
Drive Type: Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD)
To maintain the purest driving dynamics, the LFA is strictly RWD. It uses a Torque-Sensing Limited Slip Differential (LSD) to manage power delivery to the rear wheels, ensuring maximum traction coming out of corners.
