Suzuki offers three distinct transmission paths: a slick 5-speed Manual for purists, a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual) for the budget-conscious 1.2L buyer, and a sophisticated 6-speed Torque Converter (TC) with paddle shifters exclusively for the 1.0L Turbo engine.

The Fronx is built on a front-wheel-drive architecture. This layout is chosen to maximize cabin space and reduce mechanical losses, ensuring that the maximum amount of engine power reaches the wheels while keeping the vehicle light and fuel-efficient.

Manual and AMT variants utilize a conventional single-plate dry clutch system. The 6-speed automatic utilizes a fluid-based torque converter, which provides much smoother gear transitions compared to the AMT, especially during uphill climbs.
