Transmission and Drivetrain of Peugeot 2008 in Nepal

The Hybrid 136 model introduces the e-DCS6, a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission specifically designed for electrification. It houses the 21 kW electric motor inside the casing. The e-2008 uses a single-speed reduction gear optimized for high-efficiency energy recuperation through its "B-Mode" regenerative braking system.

All 2008 models remain strictly Front Wheel Drive. To compensate for the lack of AWD, Peugeot offers "Advanced Grip Control," a proprietary traction management system with specific modes for Snow, Mud, and Sand, optimizing the ESP for various terrains.
