The 9th-gen Hilux is equipped with either a 6-speed Intelligent Manual (i-MT) or a 6-speed Torque Converter Automatic. All India-spec variants come with a Part-time 4WD system including High (H4) and Low (L4) range. New for 2026 is an enhanced Multi-Terrain Select (MTS) system and an Electronic Differential Lock as standard, ensuring it remains the gold standard for "Go-Anywhere" capability.
