Gearbox Type: Single-Speed Automatic
Like most modern EVs, the EQE uses a Single-Speed Direct Drive transmission. This setup eliminates gear shifts entirely, providing a linear and uninterrupted flow of power. Drivers can adjust the "shift" feel via steering wheel paddles, which control the level of regenerative braking (recuperation).
