To improve maneuverability in tight city streets, the 2026 E-Class is available with Rear-Axle Steering. The rear wheels can turn by up to 4.5 degrees, reducing the turning circle by almost a meter. This makes a car of nearly 5 meters feel as nimble as a compact C-Class during U-turns.
