All variants utilize Audi’s 8-speed Tiptronic transmission. Unlike the dual-clutch units in smaller Audis, the Tiptronic is a torque-converter automatic designed to handle high torque loads smoothly, providing a "magic carpet" ride quality during gear changes.
Suspension: Adaptive Air Suspension
The Q7 features Adaptive Air Suspension as standard on higher trims. This system can lower the car at high speeds for better aerodynamics or raise it to navigate the deep potholes and high speed-breakers of Karachi and Lahore.
