The Binguo EV employs a Single Speed Reduction Gearbox, typical for electric drivetrains. This eliminates gear shift delay and power loss, providing a seamless acceleration experience. The driver selects modes via a rotary gear selector located on the "Floating Island" center console.
Drive Type: Front-Wheel Drive (FWD)
Unlike the Air ev's rear-wheel setup, the Binguo EV uses a Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) configuration. This layout is standard for hatchbacks as it maximizes rear passenger space and boot capacity. It also provides predictable handling characteristics during wet or slippery urban driving conditions.
