Safety & Security of Tata Nexon in Nepal

Airbag Count: 6 Airbags (Standard)

In a significant safety upgrade, Tata now provides 6 airbags (Driver, Passenger, Side, and Curtain) as standard across all variants, from the base Smart trim to the top Fearless+.

ABS with EBD: Standard

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) prevents wheel lock-up during panic braking, while Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) ensures the braking pressure is distributed based on vehicle load.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC): Standard

ESC is now standard and includes features like Roll-over Mitigation, Brake Disc Wiping, and Electronic Brake Pre-fill to keep the car stable during emergency maneuvers.

Hill Start Assist: Available

This feature prevents the car from rolling back on an incline for about 2 seconds, giving the driver enough time to switch from the brake pedal to the accelerator.

ISOFIX: Standard

Standardized ISOFIX child seat anchorages are provided on the rear outer seats, ensuring that child seats can be securely bolted to the car's chassis.

NCAP Safety Rating: 5 Stars (Global NCAP & Bharat NCAP)

The Nexon was the first Indian car to get 5 stars in 2018. The 2024 facelift has retained this 5-star rating under the newer, stricter protocols of both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP.
