The ET5 utilizes a specialized high-efficiency single-speed gearbox designed to handle the high RPM and instant torque of the electric motors. The drivetrain is "shiftless," providing uninterrupted power delivery. The drive-by-wire system allows for instantaneous transitions between regenerative braking and mechanical propulsion.
Drive Type: Intelligent AWD (All-Wheel Drive)
Every ET5 comes standard with an intelligent dual-motor All-Wheel Drive system. The system can adjust torque distribution in milliseconds, shifting power between the front and rear wheels based on road conditions. The 50:50 weight distribution further enhances the neutral handling characteristics of the chassis.
