Depending on the market and engine, the Karoq is available with a precise 6-speed manual or a lightning-fast 7-speed DSG automatic. In some regions, like Australia, a smooth 8-speed Torque Converter automatic is also offered for the 1.4/1.5 TSI variants.
Drive Type: FWD / AWD (4x4)
The Karoq is primarily Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) for efficiency, but the more powerful engines (2.0 TSI and 2.0 TDI) are available with an intelligent 4x4 system. This system uses an electronic multi-plate clutch to distribute torque to the rear wheels when extra traction is needed.
