Brake Type: 4-Wheel Disc with Regenerative Braking
To handle the extra torque and weight of the hybrid system, the City e:HEV is upgraded with solid Disc Brakes at the rear, whereas the standard petrol uses drums. More importantly, it features an Electric Servo Brake system that integrates hydraulic braking with Regenerative Braking. Using the steering-mounted "Deceleration Selectors" (paddle shifters), the driver can adjust the intensity of energy recovery, mimicking engine braking while recharging the battery.
