Performance and Motor of BYD M6 in Nepal

Max Power: 150 kW (204 PS)

The BYD M6 is powered by a front-mounted AC Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor. In its "Extended" or "Superior" trim, it delivers a robust 150 kW (approximately 204 bhp), while the "Dynamic" entry variant offers 120 kW. This electric powertrain replaces the traditional internal combustion engine, providing instantaneous torque delivery and a significantly quieter cabin experience. The vehicle is capable of hitting a top speed of 180 km/h, making it highly capable for highway cruising.

Max Torque: 310 Nm

Unlike traditional MPVs that require downshifting to find power, the BYD M6 offers a flat torque curve with a peak of 310 Nm available from 0 RPM. This allows the heavy 7-seater to move with surprising agility in city traffic and provides the necessary grunt for full-load climbs. The acceleration from 0-100 km/h is clocked at approximately 8.6 seconds for the high-power variant, which is exceptionally quick for the MPV segment.
