Porsche T-Hybrid System
Unlike a traditional Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), the T-Hybrid system is non-pluggable and focused entirely on performance. It uses a small 1.9 kWh battery with high discharge/charge rates to power the eTurbo and the traction motor, recuperating energy both through braking and directly from the exhaust gas stream.
