Unlike many hybrids that use a CVT, Kia utilizes a 6-speed Automatic Transmission. This provides a more traditional and engaging driving feel with distinct gear shifts, which is preferred by drivers who want a more "connected" experience.
Drive Type: AWD (All-Wheel Drive)
The Sorento features a fully-active AWD system with Torque Vectoring. It can automatically distribute power between the front and rear wheels based on traction levels, and includes a dedicated "Snow/Mud/Sand" Terrain Mode.
