Airbag Count: 7 Airbags
Safety is a priority for Zeekr, and the X comes equipped with 7 airbags as standard. This includes dual frontal, side chest, and side head-protecting (curtain) airbags. Notably, it also includes a center airbag between the driver and front passenger to prevent head-to-head contact during a side impact.
ABS with EBD: Standard
The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) ensures that the Zeekr X remains stable under heavy braking. The system electronically adjusts the amount of force applied to each wheel based on load and road conditions, preventing skidding and maintaining steering control.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC): Standard
ESC is standard across all variants, helping the driver maintain control during emergency maneuvers or on slippery surfaces. The Zeekr X uses its dual motors (in AWD) to apply torque-vectoring-like corrections, adjusting the power to individual wheels to keep the car on its intended path.
Hill Start Assist: Standard
Hill Start Assist prevents the Zeekr X from rolling backward when starting on an incline. The system holds the brakes for a few seconds as the driver moves their foot from the brake to the accelerator. It also features Hill Descent Control for maintaining a steady, low speed on steep declines.
ISOFIX: Standard (Front & Rear)
The Zeekr X includes ISOFIX child seat anchor points on the outer rear seats and, uniquely, on the front passenger seat as well. This provides flexible and secure options for families with young children, ensuring that child seats are anchored directly to the vehicle's chassis.
NCAP Safety Rating: 5 Stars (ANCAP / ASEAN NCAP)
The Zeekr X has achieved a maximum 5-star safety rating from both ANCAP (Australia) and ASEAN NCAP. It scored exceptionally high in Adult Occupant Protection (91%) and Child Occupant Protection (87%). The rating reflects its robust internal structure, which can withstand side impacts of up to 65 tons.
