Gearbox Type: 7-Speed DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission)
Unlike the CVT used in smaller models, the Tiggo 7 Pro utilizes a 7-speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT). This gearbox provides lightning-fast gear shifts (under 0.2 seconds) and higher torque handling capabilities. The "wet" design uses oil to cool the clutch plates, making it significantly more durable in heavy stop-and-go traffic compared to "dry" DCT alternatives.
Drive Type: FWD / AWD (Available on Max/Ultimate)
While the standard Pro model is Front-Wheel Drive, the higher "Max" or "Ultimate" trims offer an Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system. This AWD system can shift torque between the axles in just 0.1 seconds, providing enhanced traction on slippery surfaces or during aggressive cornering.
