Gearbox: 8-Speed Steptronic Sport
BMW’s latest 8-speed automatic features an integrated electric motor (in 48V and PHEV models). It includes "Sprint" logic—holding the left paddle down shifts the car to its lowest possible gear and puts all systems into Sport mode for immediate overtaking.
Drive Type: xDrive (AWD)
The intelligent xDrive system provides rear-biased power distribution. In the xDrive50e, the system manages the complex interplay between the engine, electric motor, and all four wheels to ensure maximum traction regardless of the driving mode (Electric, Hybrid, or Sport).
