The 5 Series comes standard with Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) for a classic "Sheer Driving Pleasure" feel. The xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system is optional on the 530i and standard on the i5 M60, providing variable torque distribution between the front and rear axles.
