The XPENG X9 offers two battery chemistries: an 84.5 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) for the standard range and a high-density 101.5 kWh Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) pack for long-range variants. Utilizing the 800V SiC platform, it supports ultra-fast charging, adding up to 300 km of CLTC range in just 10 minutes of charging.
Max Power: 320 bhp (RWD) / 503 bhp (AWD)
The X9 features two powertrain configurations. The single-motor RWD version produces 235 kW (approx. 320 bhp). The dual-motor AWD version adds a 135 kW front motor, resulting in a combined peak output of 370 kW (approx. 503 bhp), providing unprecedented performance for a large MPV.
Max Torque: 450 Nm (RWD) / 640 Nm (AWD)
With massive instantaneous torque, the X9 AWD can move its significant mass with ease. The 640 Nm of torque ensures smooth, effortless acceleration even when fully loaded with seven passengers and their luggage.

Despite being a large MPV, the X9 boasts sports-car acceleration. The AWD Performance version reaches 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, while the RWD models complete the sprint in a respectable 7.7 seconds.

The XPENG X9 is electronically limited to a top speed of 200 km/h. This high ceiling is a testament to the efficiency of its 800V motors and aerodynamic design, which features a drag coefficient of 0.227 Cd.
