NCAP Safety Rating: 5 Stars (Euro NCAP / ANCAP)
The 2026 X-Trail is equipped with 7 Airbags, including a segment-first far-side airbag between the front seats. It comes standard with the Nissan ProPILOT Assist suite, which includes Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, and Blind Spot Intervention. It features ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (VDC), and ISOFIX points on the outer rear seats. The "Skeleton Hood" view (part of the 360-degree camera) allows the driver to see "through" the engine bay to avoid obstacles.
