The 948 cc inline-four remains the heart of the Z900, now updated to Euro 5+ standards. It is loved for its silky-smooth power delivery and a distinctive intake howl designed by Kawasaki’s acoustic engineers.

Peak power is rated at 125 PS (approx. 123.3 hp). The new electronic throttle valves provide a more precise connection between the rider's wrist and the rear tire.

With 98.6 Nm of torque, the Z900 offers massive mid-range punch. It can pull cleanly from as low as 2,000 rpm in higher gears, making it exceptionally easy to ride in traffic.

The Z900 is capable of a 240 km/h top speed. Its gearing is optimized for "stoplight-to-stoplight" acceleration rather than high-speed touring.
