The transmission is a 5-speed manual unit. While some enthusiasts long for a 6th gear for highway cruising, the 5-speed ratios are perfectly spaced for city riding, keeping the engine right in its torquey sweet spot.
Clutch Type: Assist and Slipper Clutch
The 2026 model comes standard with an Assist and Slipper clutch. This makes the clutch lever pull exceptionally light (assist) and prevents the rear wheel from locking up or hopping during aggressive downshifts (slipper), a major safety upgrade for sporty riding.
