The R15 V4 features the same 155cc engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). It uses a specialized cam to provide strong low-end torque while a second high-lift cam kicks in at 7,400 rpm for a high-revving "top-end" punch.

Delivering 18.4 PS at 10,000 rpm, the R15 V4 is built for speed. It features a 6-speed gearbox and an Assist & Slipper Clutch, making downshifts effortless and preventing the rear wheel from locking up during aggressive engine braking.
