ABS: Switchable Dual-Channel
Unlike the Speed 400, the Scrambler 400 X allows you to completely deactivate the rear ABS via the "Off-Road" mode. This is essential for off-roading, as it allows you to lock the rear wheel to steer the bike into dirt corners.
Suspension: 150 mm Travel USD Forks
It features 43 mm gold-anodized USD forks and a gas-charged monoshock. Both ends offer 150 mm of travel which is 10–20 mm more than the Speed 400 allowing the bike to soak up larger potholes and jumps without bottoming out.
