The engine is mated to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. While some enthusiasts miss a 6th gear, the 5-speed unit is spaced widely enough to handle both city "crawls" and highway "pulls" comfortably.
Clutch Type: Assist & Slipper Clutch
Equipped with an Assist and Slipper Clutch, the N250 allows for extremely light clutch lever operation and prevents rear-wheel locking during aggressive downshifts—a critical safety feature for spirited riding.
Final Drive: Chain Drive
Power reaches the rear wheel via a Chain Drive. The 2024+ models feature a broader 140-section rear tyre which provides a larger contact patch and better power delivery to the tarmac.
