The "ABS" in its name refers to the Single-Channel ABS on the front wheel. Combined with a 280 mm front disc, it prevents wheel lock-up during sudden braking on the slippery, dusty roads often found in developing urban areas.

Moving away from the maintenance-heavy spoke wheels of the Cruise, the Street 160 comes with stylish 13-spoke alloy wheels. These are fitted with tubeless tyres (17-inch front, 15-inch rear), which are far easier to manage if you encounter a puncture.
