Transmission & Drivetrain of Ducati Panigale V4 in Nepal

Gearbox: 6-speed with DQS 2.0

The 6-speed gearbox is equipped with Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) up/down EVO 2. This system allows for clutchless upshifts and downshifts, utilizing an IMU-based strategy that adjusts shift times based on the bike's lean angle to maintain stability mid-corner.

Clutch Type: Wet Multiplate Slipper Clutch

The Panigale V4 uses a hydraulically controlled slipper clutch. The slipper (anti-patter) function prevents the rear wheel from locking up or hopping during aggressive downshifts, while the "self-servo" mechanism reduces the physical effort required at the lever.

Final Drive: Chain

Power is sent to the rear wheel via a high-strength 525 pitch chain. This setup provides the most direct power transfer and allows for easy gearing changes for different racetracks.
