The CFMoto 450MT is a purpose-built adventure motorcycle that has quickly become a game-changer in the mid-capacity touring segment in Nepal. Unlike many of its competitors, it features a 270-degree parallel-twin engine that mimics the torque and character of a V-twin, providing excellent low-end grunt essential for climbing Nepal's steep mountain passes. Its rugged silhouette is complemented by 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoked tubeless wheels, allowing riders to tackle harsh off-road terrains with much more confidence than traditional street-oriented ADVs.
Designed for serious expeditions, the 450MT comes equipped with fully adjustable KYB suspension offering a substantial 200mm of travel and a generous ground clearance of 220mm. It bridges the gap between lightweight dual-sports and heavy adventure bikes, weighing in at a manageable 175 kg (dry). With tech-forward features like a 5-inch curved TFT display, switchable rear ABS for off-road sliding, and a large 17.5-liter fuel tank, it is tailor-made for long-distance journeys from Kathmandu to Upper Mustang or the Rara Lake circuits.
