The HJ 250 does not feature ABS. In a dedicated off-road context, ABS can be a hindrance, as riders often need to intentionally lock the rear wheel to "pivot" the bike in tight turns or slide through corners.
Braking System: 270 mm Front / 240 mm Rear Disc
The bike uses dual hydraulic disc brakes. The front features a 270 mm disc with a twin-piston caliper, while the rear has a 240 mm disc. Steel-braided brake lines come as standard to prevent "brake fade" during intense downhill sections.
Side Stand Engine Cut-off: Yes
For modern compliance and safety, the HJ 250 includes a side-stand cut-off sensor, ensuring the engine won't run with the stand down if the bike is in gear.
