Underpinnings: AMG RIDE CONTROL+ / Active Roll Stabilization
The car sits on AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension with multi-stage adaptive damping. The GLE 63 S adds AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL, which uses electro-mechanical actuators on the front and rear axles to actively reduce body roll during cornering. Braking is handled by massive ventilated discs, with optional High-Performance Ceramic Composite brakes available for the 63 S.
