Battery Capacity: 59 kWh / 79 kWh
The XEV 9e offers two battery options. The 79 kWh "LFP Blade" battery (sourced from BYD) is the star, specifically designed for high energy density and safety. Mahindra provides a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner, which is a major confidence booster for new EV adopters.
Max Power: 228 bhp (59 kWh) / 282 bhp (79 kWh)
Equipped with a rear-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor, the 79 kWh variant pumps out 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. Despite its large size, it can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds, providing a punchy, enthusiast-focused Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) experience.
Range: 542 km to 656 km (MIDC)
The 79 kWh variant claims a massive 656 km range on a full charge. In real-world conditions, users are seeing a solid 450–500 km, making it fully capable of inter-city road trips across Nepal or India without frequent charging stops.
