The 8-speed automatic gearbox is linked to a GPS receiver. It analyzes the car's location and driving style to predict the next gear change. If the car is approaching a sharp bend or a steep Himalayan incline, the gearbox holds the gear or downshifts early so the driver never feels a shift "hunt."
