Underpinnings: ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL / Hydraulic Stabilization
The SL 680 features AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension but with a unique Maybach calibration. It uses hydraulic semi-active roll stabilization to virtually eliminate body roll without the harshness of traditional anti-roll bars. This creates a "Magic Carpet" ride feel even on 21-inch wheels.
