Gearbox and Drive Type: 9G-TRONIC / 4MATIC AWD
The GLS comes standard with the 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission. Power is sent to all four wheels via the 4MATIC fully variable all-wheel-drive system, which can distribute torque between the front and rear axles from 0% to 100% depending on traction requirements.
