The Discovery Sport features a smooth 9-speed automatic transmission as standard. It is paired with an Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system and Terrain Response 2, which monitors driving conditions and automatically selects the most suitable driving mode—or allows the driver to manually choose between Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud & Ruts, and Sand.
