The iX1 LWB has been specifically adjusted for the Indian market with a ground clearance of 170 mm. While slightly lower than its petrol sibling (the X1), the battery casing is armored to handle high speed breakers and uneven road surfaces. Its wheelbase has grown to 2,800 mm, providing massive rear-seat legroom.
