The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella marks a historic milestone as Toyota’s first-ever mass-market electric vehicle in the Indian market. Developed in collaboration with Suzuki, the Ebella features Toyota’s signature "Hammerhead" design philosophy, characterized by sleek, segmented LED DRLs and a bold, blanked-off front grille. Built on a dedicated EV platform, it offers two Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery options: a 49 kWh unit for city-focused driving and a 61 kWh unit for long-range cruising, delivering an impressive ARAI-certified range of 543 km.
The interior is a leap forward in tech for the brand, featuring a dual-screen setup comprising a 10.25-inch touchscreen and a 10.1-inch digital driver’s display. Unique features include 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats that slide and recline individually, a first in its segment. Safety is a major focus, with 7 airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, and a Level 2 ADAS suite as standard or available across trims. With the addition of Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) options, Toyota aims to make high-end EV ownership accessible and worry-free for the urban consumer.
