Engine: Handcrafted 2.0L Inline-4 with Electric Turbo & Hybrid Assist
The GLC 43 Coupe transitions to the M139l engine—the world’s most powerful series-production four-cylinder. It features an electric exhaust-gas turbocharger powered by a 48V onboard electrical system, which significantly reduces lag. The combustion engine produces 416 bhp (421 PS) and 500 Nm of torque. An Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) provides a brief "boost" of 14 bhp at lower engine speeds for seamless power delivery.
Acceleration and Speed: 0-100 km/h in 4.7 - 4.8 seconds
Despite the smaller displacement, the 2026 GLC 43 Coupe is faster than its V6 predecessor. It hits 100 km/h in 4.7 to 4.8 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h, though this can be increased with the optional AMG Driver's Package. It features "RACE START" for optimal standing-start acceleration.
