Engine: 3.0L Inline-6 with Turbocharger & EQ Boost
The E 53 Cabriolet is powered by an electrified 3.0-litre inline-six engine featuring an exhaust-gas turbocharger and an electric auxiliary compressor. It produces 429–435 hp and 520 Nm of torque. The EQ Boost integrated starter-generator provides an additional 22 hp and 250 Nm for short periods, while also powering the 48V onboard electrical system to eliminate turbo lag and smooth out the start-stop transitions.

Despite the added weight of the convertible's structural reinforcements, the E 53 Cabriolet remains incredibly quick, reaching 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. Its top speed is electronically governed at 250 km/h. The car features the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT system, allowing drivers to switch between "Slippery," "Comfort," "Sport," "Sport+," and "Individual" modes to alter the vehicle's temperament.
