Unlike the standard XUV300, the XUV400 measures 4,200 mm in length. Since EVs don't benefit from the "under-4m" tax slab, Mahindra extended the rear overhang to provide a more balanced look and significantly more cargo space.

The XUV400 boasts a generous 200 mm ground clearance. This is particularly impressive for an EV, where battery casings often reduce clearance. It allows the vehicle to tackle rough Indian road conditions without risking damage to the battery plate.
