Performance and Engine (Electric Motors) of Audi e tron GT in India

Battery Capacity: 93.4 kWh (Standard) / 105 kWh (2026 Performance)

The 2026 e-tron GT utilizes an 800-volt architecture. While the standard Quattro and RS models have historically used a 93.4 kWh pack, the new RS e-tron GT Performance features a larger 105 kWh battery (97 kWh usable) that is actually 9kg lighter thanks to improved cell chemistry. This allows for a massive leap in DC charging speeds—up to 320kW—enabling a 10% to 80% charge in just 18 minutes.

Max Power: 523 bhp (Standard) to 925 bhp (RS Performance)

Power figures for the 2026 lineup are staggering. The standard e-tron GT Quattro produces 523 bhp, while the RS variant jumps to 857 bhp. The newly introduced RS Performance trim delivers a wild 925 bhp (with launch control), making it the most powerful production Audi ever made. It also features a "Boost" button on the steering wheel for an extra 95 hp for 10-second bursts.

Max Torque: 630 Nm to 830+ Nm

The dual-motor setup provides instantaneous torque to all four wheels. In the RS models, torque levels exceed 830 Nm, resulting in neck-snapping acceleration. The rear motor features a newly developed permanent magnet synchronous motor (PSM) that is more efficient and lighter than previous versions.

0-100 km/h: 2.5 Seconds (RS Performance)

The benchmark sprint for the RS Performance model is a gut-wrenching 2.5 seconds. The standard Quattro variant is no slouch either, completing the run in roughly 4.0 to 4.1 seconds. Top speeds are electronically limited to 245–250 km/h depending on the variant.
