The Honda CBR 250R is widely regarded as one of the most balanced entry-level sports motorcycles ever sold in the Nepali market. Inspired by the larger VFR1200F design, it features a full-fairing aerodynamic body that provides excellent wind protection for highway touring. Unlike many aggressive sports bikes, the CBR 250R offers a comfortable "sport-touring" riding posture, making it suitable for both daily city commutes and long-distance rides across Nepal’s diverse road conditions.
Under the fairing, it houses a refined 249.6cc DOHC, liquid-cooled engine that is known for its linear power delivery and bulletproof reliability. It was one of the first bikes in its segment to introduce the Combined Anti-lock Braking System (C-ABS), setting a high benchmark for safety. The bike features a Pro-link monoshock suspension and wide tubeless tires that ensure a stable and plush ride. Though it has been officially phased out to make way for newer BS6 models, the CBR 250R remains a highly sought-after machine in the pre-owned market due to its timeless design and Honda’s legendary build quality.
