Gearbox Type: 8-Speed Satellite Aided Transmission (SAT)
The ZF 8-speed automatic is linked to the vehicle's GPS and cameras. In the Cullinan, the SAT system also considers topographical data; if the car senses a steep incline or a rough trail ahead, it proactively holds a lower gear to ensure a smooth ascent without the disruption of a mid-climb gear change.
Drive Type: Permanent All-Wheel Drive (AWD)
Unlike the RWD Phantom, the Cullinan features a permanent AWD system. It utilizes an electronically controlled transfer case that can send up to 100% of the torque to either the front or rear wheels. This is supplemented by an "Everywhere" button on the center console, which primes the car for off-road duty with a single touch.
