The Jaecoo J7 is built on a high-strength steel cage (over 80% high-strength steel). It features 6 to 10 airbags (depending on trim), including knee and far-side airbags. In Euro NCAP testing, it scored highly for adult and child occupant protection.

Equipped with over 20 ADAS functions, the J7 includes Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Prevention, Blind Spot Detection, and a Driver Monitoring System (DMS) that detects fatigue using eye-tracking technology.
